For the past two and a half decades, Charlotte Latvala has published thousands of words in dozens of places, including Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, and The Huffington Post. She also writes a humorous newspaper column on family life (www.timesonline.com). Her recent focus is on two subjects she knows intimately: Middle age and introversion. She would like to be known as a witty social commentator but will settle for not being actively ridiculed. Her theme song is Marshall Crenshaw’s “Cynical Girl.”
Thank you Charlotte for your wonderful and funny blog about being 50. I am going to be 50 in 18 days. I wil definitely come back for a read and good belly laugh! I loved the post on exercise !
Thanks Kathleen! I love the positive tone of your blog! And happy birthday a few days early-:)
(Trying to follow you but not having any success on my iPhone- will wait till I’m home in front of laptop.)
You have the best way of expressing yourself – “actively ridiculed”. Hahahahha! I can’t see that happening when your writing and humour is so enjoyable. Give yourself some credit 😛
